Strathspey 8 x 32 bars 3 Couple Repeat 4 Couple Set Longwise Set

  1-4   1ST COUPLE ½ FIGURE OF 8: 1st couple cross over between 2nd couple and cast behind 3rd couple into 3rd place on the opposite side (2nd and 3rd couples step up on bars 3-4);

  5-8   2ND COUPLE ½ FIGURE OF 8: 2nd couple repeat bars 1-4;

  9-12 3RD COUPLE ½ FIGURE OF 8: 3rd couple repeat bars 1-4;

13-16 TURN: 1st, 2nd and 3rd couples turn partners 1½ times round with both hands;

17-24 CIRCLE: 1st, 2nd and 3rd couples dance a circle and back;

25-32 SET, BACK-TO-BACK AND PROGRESS: 1st, 2nd and 3rd couples set, dance back-to-back, then 1st couple cast to the 2nd place AS 2nd couple dance up to the 1st place nearer hands joined.

Repeat having passed a couple.
