Scottish Country Dance Instruction

A DIAMOND SET IN SILVER (S8x32) 4C set John Drewry

1- 4 1M+2L and 2M+3L ½ turn 2H to face each other on diagonal and set
5- 8 1M+2s+3L circle 4H round to left with 1M ending in 3rd place opposite side as 3L ends in 1st place opposite side as 2s end in original places
9-12 1L+2M and 2L+3M ½ turn 2H to face each other on diagonal and set
13-16 1L+2s+3M dance LH across with 1L ending in 3rd place opposite side as 3M ends in 1st place opposite side as 2s turn LH to face 1st corners (pstn)
17-24 2s dance ½ Diamond Reels of 4 with 1st corners:-
' 2s dance out (pass RSh) as corners petronella turn left into diamond shape and 3L+2s+1M set ending with 3L+1M petronella turning to BtoB facing original corners
' 1M+3L dance out as 2s dance in and petronella turn left into diamond and 1M+2s+3L set ending with 2s petronella turning to BtoB facing 2nd corners
25-32 2s dance ½ Diamond Reels of 4 with 2nd corners:-
' 2s dance out as corners petronella turn left into diamond shape and 3M+2s+1L set ending with 3M+1L petronella turning to BtoB facing original corner
' 1L+3M dance out as 2s dance in and ½ turn RH to face up and 2s dance up to 1st place as 1s cast to 2nd place
