4-couple dance in Square Set

  1-8   GRAND CHAIN: all dance a Grand Chain around the square, one step to each hand;

  9-16 HEAD COUPLES 1½ TURN BY RIGHT AND CHASE: 1st and 3rd couples turn partner 1½ times by the right hand, then the women followed by her partner dance clockwise ¼ around behind the side couples to end in front of them, men dancing between side couples (1st woman facing 2nd man, 1st man facing 2nd woman, 3rd woman facing 4th man, and 3rd man facing 4th woman);

17-24 HAND-IN-HAND OVAL REEL OF 4: all dance Hand-in-Hand Oval Reel of 4 (chase around an oval track, 2nd followed by 1st followed by 4th followed by 3rd, switching hands with partner at each end of the set ending as at the end of Bar 16): N.B. there is no left shoulder passing in the middle;

25-32 HEADS ROUND SIDES AND CHASE HOME: head couples dance anticlockwise all the way round the person you are facing (men dance between side couple to start), then the women chased by her partner dance anticlockwise round side couples to original places (1st couple round 2nd couple, 3rd couple round 4th couple).

33-64 REPEAT BARS 1-32 with Side Couples active in Bars 9-32.
