Scottish Country Dance Instruction

HOME FARM JIG (J8x32) G Howell HOME FARM JIG (J8x32) 3C (4C set) Graham Howell

1- 4 1s+2s dance ½ double Fig of 8 (1s cast, 2s cross up)
5- 8 1s cast, dance in to centre, set pulling back RSh to end BtoB facing opposite sides while 2s cross up and set pulling back RSh to face in
9-12 2s+1s+3s set (as in Double Triangles) 1s pas-de-basque out and turn right about to face in while 2s and 3s pas-de-basque in and turn right about to face out
13-16 2s+1s+3s set (Inverted Double Triangle formation), 1s pas-de-basque in and face down while 2s and 3s pas-de-basque out to places
17-24 1s lead down (4 bars) and back up to 2nd place opposite side
25-32 Mirror reels of 3 on sides (2s down/in, 1s up/out, 3s up/in to start), 1s end crossing to 2nd place own side
