Scottish Country Dance Instruction

L'ETE A PARIS (R8x40) 3C (4C set) Shigeyoshi Kobayashi

1- 4 1s+2s dance the Typhon:-
' 1M+2L ¾ turn RH to face each other and twirl out to 2nd/1st place own sides while partners set and cast (down/up) 1 place
5- 8 1s dance ½ reels of 3 on own sides (RSh to 2s)
9-16 1M followed by 1L casts up and dances down the middle 1L to face 3M while 1M faces 2M, 1s dance ½ reels of 3 across
17-24 1M followed by 1L dances down, casts up round 2L and crosses to end in 2nd place on opposite sides, all turn RH into prom hold facing down
25-32 3s+1s+2s dance Japonaise:-
' 3s+1s+2s dance up Ladies' side into middle and turn partner RH (4 bars)
33-40 2s+1s+3s circle 6H round and back
