1- 8 1L and 4M petronella turn and set, 1L ½ turn 2M RH and ½ turn 3M LH while 4M ½ turn 3L RH and ½ turn 2L LH (1L and 4M having changed places)
9-16 1M and 4L repeat above Fig to end 4231
17-24 4s+2s circle 4H round to left opening out to both couples on Ladies side (4s at bottom) while 3s+1s circle 4H round to left opening out to both couples on Men's side (1s at top) with 1s facing 2s and 3s facing 4s, 1s+2s also 3s+4s circle 4H round to left and end in original places
25-32 All dance ½ Grand Chain for 4 steps (1s at bottom), 1s turn RH 1½ times to own side while 4s+3s+2s continue Grand Chain (3 couple) to 2341
