ROCKING HORSE (M-2x(S48+J48)) Sq.Set Muriel A Johnstone ROCKING HORSE (M-2x(S48+J48)) Sq.Set Muriel A Johnstone Merse Coll

1- 8 1s and 3s Adv+Ret and dance ½ R&L
9-16 2s and 4s repeat
17-24 All couples set nearer hands joined, petronella in tandem 1 place to right. Each couple, with M leading, chase back 1 place and ½ turn RH
25-32 All Ladies dance LH across once round while Men dance round ½ way clockwise, Ladies face out and set to opposite Man and ½ turn RH
33-40 Men dance LH across once round while Ladies dance ½ way clockwise to original places, set to partners and turn RH to original places
41-48 All circle 8H round ½ way to Left, set, pull back RSh and cast 1 place to end having progressed 1 place round the set anticlockwise
Repeat as a Jig, then as a Strathspey and finally as a Jig. Each time starting from new places
