THE THREE SQUARE STRATHSPEY (S3x32) 3C Sq.Set S Petyt Caledonian Caper
1s and 3s stand as for a normal square set. 2L stands in 2nd couples place and 2M stands in 4th couples place
1- 4 2s set and cast anticl'wise to end 2L in 1st place and 2M in 3rd pl while 1s and 3s dance RH across ending in centre facing 2L/2M (now in 1st/3rd pls)
5- 8 2L+1s also 2M+3s dance LH across
9-12 2L+1s dance ½ reel of 3 (2L RSh to 1L) while 2M+3s dance ½ reel of 3 (2M RSh to 3L)
13-16 2s turn RH to end facing up (Lady facing lady, Man facing man) to 1s while 1s and 3s turn partner RH to finish in partner's original place
17-20 1s+2s dance ½ RandL (1s end facing 3s)
21-24 1s+3s dance ½ RandL (1s end in 3rd place, 3L in 2nd place and 3M in 4th place)
25-32 All circle 6H round and back
