3-couple dance in 4-couple longways set

  1-8   SET, CAST AND TURN TO CORNERS: 1st couple set, cast off one place, and turn by the left hands to 1st corners;

  9-16 PASS AND TURN: 1st couple and 1st corners dance Pass and Turn (pass corner by the right shoulder, corners turn with right hands, 1st couple pass corner and dance past each other by the right shoulder to face 2nd corners), then 1st couple and 2nd corners dance Pass and Turn ending with 1st couple in 2nd place on opposite sides;

17-24 CROSS AND CAST TWICE: 1st couple cross right hands, cast to right (1st man around 2nd man, 1st woman around 3rd woman), cross up-and-down giving right hands in passing, and cast to right (1st man around 3rd man, 1st woman around 2nd woman);

25-32 3-COUPLE WHEELIE CHAIN: dance four successive 3-handed wheels each halfway round right, left, right, left: this is similar to a Grand Chain but with ½ 3- handed wheels
Bars 17-18: ½ right hand wheel, 1st woman-1st man-2nd man, 2nd woman-3rd woman-3rd man,
Bars 19-20: ½ left hand wheel, 1st woman-3rd woman-2nd woman, 3rd man-1st man-2nd man,
Bars 21-22: ½ right hand wheel, 1st woman-1st man-2nd man, 3rd man-3rd woman- 2nd woman,
Bars 23-24: ½ left hand wheel, 1st woman-3rd woman-2nd woman, 3rd man-1st man- 2nd man
N.B. 1st and 2nd men and 2nd and 3rd women dance clockwise round the set as 1st woman and 3rd man dance anticlockwise round the set;

REPEAT FROM 2ND PLACE.
