THE WHITE AND PURPLE HEATHER JIG 1 (J8x40) 3C (4C set) Variation to White Heather by J Cosh 22 SCDs

1- 8 1s turn RH and cast to 2nd place, turn 1½ LH to end between 2s facing opposite sides
9-16 1s+2s dance Reel of 4 across and 1s pass RSh to face 1st corners
17-24 1s turn corner, partner, corner, partner to end between 3s facing opposite sides
25-32 1s+3s dance Reel of 4 across and 1s end in middle between 3s and 4s
33-40 1s turn LH and cast up to 2nd place own side and turn RH

WHITE AND PURPLE HEATHER JIG 2 (J8x40) 4C set

1- 8 1s followed by 2s+3s+4s cast to 4th place, dance up and cast back into places
9-16 1s+2s also 3s+4s Set+Link, 2s+1s also 4s+3s circle 4H round to left
17-24 2s+1s also 4s+3s dance the Knot with 1s ending between 2s
25-32 1s dance the Spurtle :-
' 1s dance ½ reel of 4 with 2s and turn partner RH to face 3s, 1s dance ½ reel of 4 with 3s and turn partner RH to face 4s
33-40 1s dance ½ reel with 4s and turn RH to 4th place opposite sides, all set and cross RH 1s ending in 4th place
