THE WHITE HEATHER STRATHSPEY 1 (S96) Sq.Set R Gillespie-Smith SCD Archives

1- 8 1s+3s set, dance ½ RandL and turn partners RH while 2s+4s dance RandL
9-16 All dance Double Reel of 4 (Ladies start dancing in) all touching LH in centre
17-24 All circle 8H round to left for 2 bars, turn partner 2H, circle 8H round for 2 Bars and again turn partners 2H ending in original places
25-32 All dance Grand Chain ½ way, 1s+3s promenade back to places passing LSh while 2s and 4s turn RH
33-64 Repeat bars 1-32 with 2s and 4s as leading dancers
65-72 All in Allemande hold promenade round set and end turning Ladies LH into centre for RH across (facing clockwise and Men on outside)
73-80 All dance RH across ½ way, all change places with partners advancing 1 place and change places again advancing 1 more place
81-88 Repeat bars 73-80
89-96 All set to partners HS and turn partners 2H to end Ladies BtoB facing partners

1- 8 1s+2s Adv+Ret for 1 step, cross RH to face down/up, 1s+2s Adv+Ret for 1 step (down/up) and change places RH on sides
9-16 2s+1s Adv+Ret for 1 step, cross RH and turn partner RH
17-24 1s dance Fig of 8 round 2s
25-32 2s+1s circle 4H round and back
