Exchange Positions

The term Exchange positions is used when pairs of Scottish Country Dancers Finish a Figure each in the other's Position; the Figure is often one of the forms of Crossing.

For example, here is a Scottish Country Dance in which the term, Exchange positions, is used in either the Minicrib or the Maxicrib Dance instructions or both -
Lanes Of Au.
