Petronella Turn With Skip Change

Although Petronella turn is usually, in Quick tempo dances, reserved for a Figure performed using Pas-de-basque (see Petronella turn under Petronella movements), a very similar movement taking 2 bars is occasionally performed using Skip change as, for example, for the 1st Man and 1st Lady in bars 15-16 of the Scottish Country Dance The Flying Spur, where they Dance to the Centre line and Turn about to Face each other, following Reels of three on the sides performed in 6 bars.
