Scottish Country Dance Instruction

1- 8 1s and 4s petronella turn and set (2s and 3s step up/ down 3-4); 1s and 4s turn partner LH 1¼ times, 1s finish between 2s, 4s between 3s all facing opposite sides
9-24 1s+2s also 3s+4s dance Modified "Celtic Reel":
 9-12 1s+2s (3s+4s) pass RSh as for reel of 4, 1s (3s) dance clockwise ¼ way while 2s (4s) turn ¾ LH round each other to face other partner (up/down)
 13-16 1s+2s (3s+4s) pass RSh as for reel of 4, 2s (4s) dance clockwise ¼ way while 1s turn ¾ LH round each other to face other partner (across)
 17-24 1s+2s (3s+4s) repeat bars 9-16 to end 1s between facing down, 4s between 3s facing up.
25-32 1s and 4s set twice to each other and dance ½ R&L to end on own sides in 2nd/3rd places facing out. 2413
33-36 1M followed by 4M dances down behind 3M and dances up between 3s while 4L followed by 1L dances up behind 2L and dances down between 2s
37-40 1s+4s dance LH across ¾ round to end on own sides in order 2413
