THE BORROWDALE EXCHANGE (R32) 3C circular set Round The Room Derek Haynes Carnforth Collection 2
Round the room in 3 Couple Circles

1- 8 All circle 6H round and back
9-16 All advance and retire (into centre of circle) and dance DoSiDo with partner
17-24 All dance RH across, Lady with hand is underneath dances out under arch into prom hold with new partner followed by next Lady etc.
25-32 All Promenade with new partners anywhere round the room and hopefully meet with another 2 couples to start again

Reel n x 32 bars 3 Couple Repeat 3 Couple Set Progressive Triangular Set

  1-8   All 6 hands round and back;

  9-12 retaining hands, all advance and retire;

13-16 all dos-à-dos with partner;

17-20 all take hands with opposite (now the new partner) for right hands across, finishing by retaining hold and raising hands into an arch;

21-22 L with lowest right hand dance under the arch to take promenade hold with new partner;

23-24 next L repeat bars 21-22;

25-32 new couples promenade anywhere in the room to find 2 other couples for the next Repeat.

Dance Notes

Note that this dance is progressive by couple as well as by set.

21-24 There is no need to rush this but take care to finish with L on right of new partner.

25-32 There is no need to rush this, either, unless you find yourselves isolated from other free couples.
