Dance Information

Calver Lodge is an old Scottish dance found in J. P. Boulogne's The Ball-Room, published in Glasgow in 1827. The dance described there is substantially the same 24-bar dance later published by the RSCDS in Book 8 in 1932.

A later version appears in J. F. Wallace's The Excelsior Manual of Dancing, published in Glasgow in about 1872, with an additional reel of four.
