CAPTAIN MACKINTOSH (R8x40) 3C (4C set) MMM 2

1- 8 1L followed by 2L+3L dance across top and down behind Men, cross below 3s and dance back up to place
9-16 1M+2M+3M repeat by crossing, dancing behind the Ladies and up on own side to places
17-24 1s set to 2s on sides and change places RH, set and change back LH to places
25-32 1s+2s Allemande 1s crossing LH to end in 2nd place on opposite sides facing in
33-40 2s+1s+3s dance reel of 3 on opposite sides (1s giving RSh to 2nd corners to start) and cross RH to 2nd place own sides

Dance Information

Captain Mackintosh is a Scottish Country Dance first published by Thomas Wilson in 1816. It was interpreted by the RSCDS in Miss Milligan's Miscellany #2, about 1977.

Wilson spells the title as "Captain Macintosh".
