Scottish Country Dance Instruction

THE CARLETON JIG (J4x32) 4C set David G Queen Ribble Valley Book
3s and 4s start on opposite sides

1- 8 1s and 4s cross RH and cast, 1s and 4s dance LH across 1ΒΌ times and end 1s on M side, 4s on L side
9-16 1s and 4s dance set and rotate for first 6 bars then change places LH with person on sides:
 Set, Rotate singly and dance on 1 place clockwise, change places RH on sides then change places LH with person facing on sides (i.e. 2s and 3s)
17-24 2s and 3s dance RH across in middle then LH across with 1s and 4s (all stay in the middle)
25-32 4s+2s and 1s+3s change places with an Allepousse (4s and 1s dance Allemande while 2s and 3s dance Poussette) 24(1)(3)
