Scottish Country Dance Instruction

THE DRUNKEN PARTY (J4x40) 4C set Gordon Sparling
3s and 4s start on opposite sides

1- 8 1s+2s also 3s+4s dance R&L
9-16 2s and 3s cast to ends and down/up middle to dance ½ RH across and end dancing out to sides with other partner to 1(2)3(4) (2s and 4s on opposite sides)
17-24 1s+2s also 3s+4s dance Ladies' Chain
25-32 1s cross RH and cast to 2nd place while 2s cross up to top, 1s cross RH and cast to 3rd place while 3s step up
33-40 1s cross RH, cast to 4th place while 4s step up and all turn RH for 4 bars. 23(4)(1)
