Dance Information

This strathspey, Foxhill Court, was dedicated by John Drewry to Audrey Hinchcliffe of Foxhill Court, Leeds.

Audrey was secretary of Leeds Branch of the RSCDS for many years and became Honorary President of the club.

Many of the Bands who travelled from Scotland to play in Leeds stayed at Foxhill Court, including Jimmy Shand who became a great friend and composed the recommended tune to Foxhill Court, "Miss Audrey Hinchcliffe's Strathspey".
