THE HAPPY COUPLE (J8x40) 3C (4C set) Peter Avery Newcastle Half Century Book1- 8 1s cross RH and cast (2s step up), 1s dance ½ Fig of 8 up round 2s, finishing in prom hold facing 2L
9-16 1s+2s dance reel of 3 across (1s pass 2L RSh). 1s finish facing 3L
17-24 1s+3s dance reel of 3 across (1s pass 3L LSh), 1s finish in centre facing Ladies' side, drop RH
25-32 1s dance out between 2L and 3L, cross LH, cast back into centre and turn RH 1¼ to finish facing up nearer hands joined while 2s+3s set twice and turn partner RH, finishing 2 hands joined in centre making two arches
33-40 1s dance up between 2s, cast, dance down between 3s and cast up to 2nd place. 2s and 3s step back to sidelines end bar 40. 213
