1- 8 All advance and retire 1 step twice, 1s cross and cast 1 place as 2s turn ½ way RH and lead up 1 place and cross RH as 3s+4s ½ turn RH and ½ turn LH
9-16 All dance Grand Chain
17-24 1s+3s dance RH across and LH back
25-32 2s+1s dance R&L 1s end facing 1st corners

Reel
1- 8 1s dance 'Hello-Goodbye' setting, set to each other ending BtoB (1M facing up and 1L down)
9-16 1s dance reels of 3 on opposite sides giving RSh to 2nd corner and cross back to own sides
17-24 1s+3s advance and retire, 1s+3s advance and retire up and down and 1s dance between 3s to 3rd place while 3s dance up to 2nd place
25-32 1s+4s repeat bars 17-24

Dance Information

HM Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother (1900-2002) saw this dance performed at Sherborne School for Girls.

This medley was devised by Iain Stuart Robertson in 1974 to honour the Queen Mother's royal visit to celebrate the school's 75th anniversary.
