1- 8 All set, advance and retire (1 step), turn 2H and circle 8H round for 2 bars
9-16 All set to corners and dance La Baratte to form new couples
 Men ½ turn corner RH and retain hand but at arm's length from each other, Men retrace steps with corner turning right under his arm briefly into Allemande hold (Men behind corner facing Men's original place) and releasing corner's RH she turns under Man's left arm and all change places LH to opposite places'
17-24 Couples in 1st and 3rd positions dance a variation of the Swirl:
 Turn partner RH into Allemande hold and dance LSh round other couple ¼ way, on bar 20 release right hands and dance LH across and swirl to face side couples to form 2 lines of 4: 3L faces 4M and 3M faces 4L while 1L faces 2M and 1M faces 2L'
25-32 All dance reels of 4. On bars 31-32 1s+3s loop into square set formation (Ladies on partner's right)
33-48 New couples in 2nd and 4th positions repeat bars 17-32. 3412

49-64 All dance full Schiehallion Reel
65-80 All dance Grand Chain (2 bars per hand)
81-88 All turn partner RH, turn corner LH to finish passing partner RSh
89-92 All Men dance LH across while all Ladies chase clockwise ½ way round (Ladies pass Men LSh)
93-96 All Ladies dance RH across while all Men chase anticlockwise ½ way round to meet own partner
