Medley S64 + J64 bars 4 Couple Repeat 4 Couple Set Square Set
Strathspey:
1-8 8 hands round and back;
9-12 all set and turn corners by the right;
13-16 all set and turn partners by the left;
17-18 1M 3M lead partners forward (take nearer hands) and exchange partners (each M passing partner's left hand into the other M's left);
19-20 1M3L cross out between 2s WHILE 3M1L cross out between 4s;
21-24 1s 3s meet and turn by the right 1½ times;
25-32 2s 4s repeat last 8 bars;
33-34 Ls petronella one place round the set;
35-36 all set;
37-40 Ls repeat last 4 bars, finishing in their original places;
41-48 Mn repeat last 8 bars, finishing in their original places;
49-56 grand chain;
57-64 all take allemande hold and chase anticlockwise around the square set, releasing hold to finish in original places.
Jig:
65-127 Repeat bars 1-63 in jig time;
128-128 finish the chase in allemande hold with the Mn turning their partners into the middle of the set and dropping left hands, ready for the bow and curtsey.

Dance Notes
-24 1s 3s finish with partners on normal side, not as in Schiehallion.
65-128 The jig is usually played blessedly slowly but beware of untidiness, especially in the grand chain and the chase in allemande hold.
