Scottish Country Dance Instruction

LA RUSSE (R4x64) Sq.Set MMM 1

1- 8 With setting steps all pass partners RH to face partner's corner position and set, all turn corners 2H to end facing own partner
9-16 All set to partners twice and turn 2H 1½ times to end in original places
17-24 1s lead RH round inside of set anticlockwise greeting each couple
25-32 1s dance Poussette round inside of set
33-40 1s+3s cross (1s dancing between 3s) and cross back to places (3s dancing between 1s)
41-48 1s+3s repeat bars 33-40
49-56 All circle 8H round to left
57-64 All Ladies join RH in centre with partners on their left and dance once round clockwise to places

Repeat with 2s, 3s and 4s leading
