Scottish Country Dance Instruction

1- 8 1s+2s+3s dance Inveran Reels
9-16 1s and 4s cross RH, cast 1 place (2s and 3s step up/down bars 11-12). 1s+4s dance RH across in centre to finish in tandem with partner - 1M (followed by 1L) facing 2L and 4L (followed by 4M) facing 3M
17-24 1s+2s also 4s+3s dance RSh tandem reels of 3 to finish with 1s on Man's side (1L in 2M place) and 4s on Ladies' side (4L in 2L place)
25-32 1s+4s join hands on side and set, 1L+4L also 1M+4M ½ RH turn and dance RH across finishing in tandem with 1M facing 3M with 1L behind him and 4L facing 2L with 4M behind her
33-40 1s+3s also 4s+2s dance RSh tandem reels across finishing in centre (own sides), 1s facing down, 4s facing up, 2s and 3s finish facing out
41-48 1s+3s also 4s+2s dance Double Figs 8 (may give hands when crossing) with the dancing couples crossing out the ends to begin and finishing BtoB in centre in 'Saltire' formation facing corners (1M+3M, 1L+3L, 4M+2M and 4L+2L)
49-64 1s and 4s change places with corners RH, corners (2s+3s) dance ½ LH across while 1s and 4s set. Repeat this movement 3 more times back to places on side. 2413
