  1-4   DIAGONAL TURN: 1st woman and 2nd man turn once round with both hands;

  5-8   DIAGONAL TURN: 1st man and 2nd woman turn once round with both hands;

  9-16 CIRCLE AND BACK-TO-BACK: 1st and 2nd couples circle once round and then dance back-to-back with partner;

17-24 FIGURE OF 8: 1st couple dance a figure of 8 around 2nd couple;

25-32 GEAR TURNS TO BOTTOM: 1st couple turns 2nd couple 1½ times around for 4 bars 1st and 2nd women with left hands; 1st and 2nd men with right hands, then turn 3rd couple 1½ times around for 4 bars with other hands.
