1- 8 1L and 4M petronella turn and set, 1L turns 2M 1½ RH then ½ turns 3M LH while 4M turns 3L 1½ RH then ½ turns 2L LH (End 1L in 4M's place, 4M in 1L's place)
9-16 1M and 4L repeat above Fig (bars 1-8) to end (4)23(1)
17-24 4s+2s also 3s+1s circle 4H round to left (3 bars), opening (4M and 1L leading) into circle of 8H (momentarily bar 20), breaking and flowing into 1s+2s also 3s+4s circle 4H round to Left to original places
25-32 All dance ½ Grand Chain (4 steps), 1s (at bottom) turn RH 1½ times to 4th place own side while 4s+3s+2s continue Grand Chain. 2341
