Dance Notes

9-20 In the half reels of 4, the finishing position of the middle dancers is conventionally defined as left shoulder to left shoulder at the midpoint of the axis of the reel, not back-to-back having already passed that point and so their subsequent left turn must be a full turn.

-12 1s finish left shoulder to left shoulder, facing opposite sides.

    -14 1s finish facing up and down, L to L, M to M.

-20 2L3M finish left shoulder to left shoulder, 2L facing down, 3M up.

    -22 2L 3M finish facing across, L to L, M to M.

25-28 To complete this half reel, 2M 3L pass to finish back-to-back, facing own sides.

37-40 3L 2M move quickly, 3M 2L hold back, to allow 1s to finish in 2nd place.
