NOCES D'ARGENT (M-8x(S16+R16)) 3C (4C set) Mylène Rousseau Paris Book of SCDs vol 1 2012

Strathspey
1- 8 1s+2s Petronella in Tandem and set, Petronella in Tandem, 2s+1s cross RH with partner, 1s remain in centre
9-12 1s set, ½ turn 2H, pull back RSh and dance out to 2nd place opposite sides (1M facing down, 1L facing up)
13-16 ½ Reels of 3 on sides, 1s RSh to 1s corner, 1s end facing 1st corner and all clap twice

Reel
1- 8 1s dance Corner pass and turn with 1st corners, on bar 4 1s ½ turn RH to face 2nd corners, 1s dance corner pass and turn with 2nd corners passing corners LSh. 1s ½ turn LH to end LSh to LSh facing opposite sides
9-16 1L+3s (at top) and 1M+2s dance RH across (3 bars), 3s+1s+2s circle 6H ½ round to left (all on opposite sides), all cross RH with partner. 213

The MiniCrib and Keith Rose's Crib Diagram show the revised version of bars 12-16 of the reel part; the previous version was:

12-13 3s 1s 2s cross to own sides.

14-16 all 6 hands round to the left, finishing 2s1s3s.

Dance Information

Medley (Strathspey 16 Reel 16) Dance devised by Mylène Rousseau on behalf of the RSCDS Paris branch for the 25th wedding anniversary of Danielle and Jerry Reinstein and introduced at their anniversary dance held in Paris on 23rd June 2012.

"Noces d'Argent" is French for "silver wedding" (25th wedding).
