1- 8 1M turns 2L with 2H then turns partner 2H
9-16 1L sets twice to 2M then turns partner 2H
17-24 1M+2L change places RH, 1L+2M change places RH
25-32 2s+1s retire and advance 2 steps then cross RH to own sides, 1s dance up and cast to 2nd place

The Reel of Glamis is a Scottish Country Dance published by Walsh in c. 1735 and interpreted in RSCDS Book 12 in 1938.

Walsh wrote:

The 1st Man turns the 2d Wo. and fall back and turn S. the 1st Wo. sett to the 2d Man, and fall back and turn S. the 1st Man change places with the 2d Wo. then the 1st Wo. change places with the 2d Man, then all four meet and turn S. then the 1st Cu. being in the 2d Cu. place, lead thro' and cast off -

Glamis (pronounced "glamz", rhymes with "lambs") is a small village in Angus, Scotland, located four miles south of Kirriemuir and five miles southwest of Forfar.

It is the location of Glamis Castle, the childhood home of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother.
