THE RENAISSANCE MAN (S8x40) 3C (4C set) Ann Hankins, 1997

1- 8 1s turn RH 1½ times, cast 1 place on opposite sides (2s step up) and turn ¾ LH to join RH with 1st corners
9-16 1s+1st corners Balance-in-Line, 1s turn 1¼ LH and join RH with 2nd corners and Balance-in-Line. 1s cross LH to 2nd place own side
17-24 2s+1s+3s set and link for 3 twice to end 312 on opposite sides. (3)(1)(2)
25-32 3s+1s+2s set on side, petronella turn to face partner in middle, set and turn partner RH
33-40 3s+1s+2s dance Allemande

Dance Notes

Strathspey Balance-in-Line:
 Those with left hands joined in the middle drop left hands and all execute a "Common Schottische" step to the right, joining left hands under right hands and then dropping right hands.
 Those moving into the middle of the line join right hands. Repeat to left.
