1- 4 1s+2s also 3s+4s RH across ½ way, 1L and 4M cast to ends into middle facing down/up while 1M+4L turns 2H to end facing partner in middle of set
5- 8 1s+4s dance ½ reel of 4 up/down middle
9-16 2s+4s also 1s+3s (in 2 diamond formations) set and petronella on 1 place, 2s+3s ½ reel of 4 up/down middle
17-24 All set in diamond formations, petronella on 1 place, 1s and 4s ¾ turn RH to end on opposite sides in 2nd and 3rd places, all set on sides. (3)(4)(1)(2)
25-32 All dance Double Snowball Grand Chain for 4 couples:-
' 3s and 2s cross RH and change places LH on side with 4s/1s
' 4s and 1s cross RH while 3s+2s change places RH
' 4s +2s also 3s+1s change places LH. 2413

Dance Information

Benbecula is an island of the Outer Hebrides in the Atlantic Ocean off the west coast of Scotland. With a population of around 1,200 Benbecula lies between the islands of North Uist and South Uist, to which it is connected by road causeways.

Travel to any of the other main Hebridean islands, or to the Scottish mainland, must be done by air or sea. Benbecula Airport on the island has daily flights to Glasgow, Stornoway and Barra.
