Dance Information

This strathspey, Return To Shieldaig, was devised by Gordon Thomson in memory of Miriam Lochner, who danced at Cambridge.

Shieldaig is a village in Wester Ross alongside Loch Shieldaig in the Northwest Highlands of Scotland.

The name Shieldaig is a Viking word meaning 'loch of the herring'.
