ROAD TO RANNOCH (M-(S64+R64)) Sq.Set Helen Trattles RSCDS Wirral

Strathspey
1- 8 All set to partner and turn 1¼ LH. Ladies dance RH across and dance out through their own place while men dance anticlockwise ½ way round the set to opposite man's place
9-16 Men dance LH across while ladies dance clockwise ½ way round the set to meet partner in promenade hold (lady on right). All promenade anticlockwise ½ way round the set to original places and face corners
17-24 All Petronella turn with corners to form St Andrews Cross (men back to back in the middle, ladies on diagonal out of set). All set. All advance and retire for 1 step, all turn corners LH to original places facing partner
25-32 All dance interlocking RSh reels of 4.
33-40 All dance double men's chain giving LH in the middle. Ladies finish facing out
41-56 All dance full Schiehallion reel
57-64 All circle 8H round and back

Reel
Repeat bars 1-64 above, except
17-24 All Petronella with corners to join RH with corners (St Andrews Cross), all set and turn inwards and join LH and all set. All turn LH to original place facing partner
