Scottish Country Dance Instruction

1- 4 All join hands, advance (4 steps) and Retire (4 steps)
5- 8 Repeat bars 1-4
9-12 Men advance to centre (4 steps) and Retire to place
13-16 Ladies repeat bars 9-12 finishing in place, facing partner
17-24 Grand Chain (7 bars - 7 hands). Join hands in promenade hold with new partner
25-32 All promenade anticlockwise and open out to circle again
