4-couple dance in 4-couple longways set

  1-8   ALL SET TWICE AND TURN PARTNER: once round with right hands;

  9-16 ALL SET TWICE AND TURN PARTNER: once round with left hands;

17-24 WOMEN CHASE: 1st woman dances across the top of the set and down behind the men followed by 2nd 3rd and 4th women all ending behind 4th, 3rd, 2nd, and 1st men, respectively (4 bars), cross below this man to own side, and all set nearer hands joined;

25-32 MEN CHASE: 1st man dances across the top of the set and down behind the women followed by 2nd 3rd and 4th men all ending behind 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th women, respectively (4 bars), cross below this woman to own side, and all set nearer hands joined;

33-40 UP MIDDLE AND DOWN: 1st couple lead up the middle followed by 2nd, 3rd and 4th couples who dance down the side to follow 1st couple up the middle nearer hands joined (4 bars), then 1st couple dances down through arches made by 2nd, 3rd and 4th couples to foot of set.

Repeat with new top couple.
