1- 8 All advance for 2 steps and retire, turn partners RH to end in own places Men facing up and Ladies down
9-16 All chase round to places
17-24 1s+2s also 3s+4s dance right hands across and back
25-32 1s and 4s advance and retire (up and down set), advance again up/down set and Men also Ladies advance to own sides to 2nd and 3rd places. 2413
33-40 4s (at top) dance Fig of 8 round 2s while 1s (at bottom) dance Fig of 8 round 3s. 2413

Dance Information

This dance, St Ebba's Strand, was published in the booklet "The Ladies Of Dunse", a collection of dances from Duns and district published by The Duns and district branch of the RSCDS in 1995.

St Ebba's Strand was devised as a tribute to Miss Margaret A. Rae on becoming Honorary President of the RSCDS Duns and District Branch.
