TRIP TO SUCKER BAY (J8x32) 3C (4C set) Maureen Burnham

1- 8 1s+2s+3s advance and retire for 2 steps, cross RH and chase clockwise to end facing partner in lines across
9-16 1s+2s+3s advance and retire for 2 steps, change places with partner LH and chase anticlockwise back to original places
17-24 1s+2s+3s circle 6H round and back
25-32 1s dance ½ Figs of 8 round 2s, cross RH and cast 1 place

RSCDS Winnipeg Branch says that in the 1970s and 1980s, dancers from Winnipeg and The Twin Cities met from time to time to dance and socialise. This dance recalls one such weekend, held at Akeley, Minnesota.

Sucker Bay is a bay on Leech Lake in Chippewa National Forest, Minnesota, USA.
