A TYNESIDE TRIBUTE TO IAN THOW (J96) Sq.Set Tim Bolton-Maggs Newcastle Half Century Book1- 8 1s+3s advance (2 steps) and set; 1M+3L dance out through 2s and cast back to places while 1L+3M dance out through 4s and cast back to places
9-16 Grand Chain ½ round (start RH), turn partner RH to finish with Ladies joining LH in centre, RH with partner, all facing nearer hands anticlockwise
17-24 All dance 4 skip change ½ round; Ladies dance in front of partner to next "arm" of cross while Men dance into centre to beside partner. All set (in cross)
25-32 Men face partner and dance Hello-Goodbye setting ½ round set (all finish 1 place on, 4 1 2 3)
33-40 Ladies dance to centre, pass LSh (2 steps), turn next Man LH (Men start dancing into Lady's place beside them); Ladies repeat to finish beside partner
41-48 All promenade clockwise once round ending 4 1 2 3
49-56 2s+4s advance (2 steps) and set, 2M+4L dance out through 3s and cast back to places, while 2L+4M dance out through 1s and cast back to places
57-64 Grand Chain ½ round (start LH), turn partner LH to finish with Men joining RH in centre LH with partner, all facing nearer hands, all facing clockwise
