17-24 1s ¾ turn 3s (Ladies LH, Men RH). 1s end between 2s facing up nearer hands joined; 1s ¾ turn 2s (Ladies RH, Men LH). 1s end in 2nd place own side

This dance, V and J's Maggot, was devised by John Wood for Jim and Vaurneen Powell as a farewell dance from the RSCDS Nova Scotia Branch."Maggot", as part of the title of a dance, is an old English word meaning somebody's "favourite" or "whim".
The name "Magot" or "Maggot" first appeared in dance titles from around the late 1600s.
