Dance Information

This strathspey, The Water Of Leith, comes from a collection of Scottish country dances to celebrate the 90th Anniversary of the Edinburgh Branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society in 2014 and was devised by John Wilkinson, RSCDS Edinburgh and past Chairman of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society.

The Water of Leith is the main river flowing through Edinburgh, Scotland, to the port of Leith where it flows into the sea via the Firth of Forth.
