Dance Information

The tune The Teddy Bears' Picnic was the inspiration for this dance. The deviser created a special dance to please those who very much enjoyed the tune being played for other dances by the Lothian Scottish Dance Band.

Accordingly this jig, Woodland Assembly, was dedicated to that band.
