First Corner

In a Longwise set, when the Couples are on their Own sides and in the order 2 1 3, 3rd lady is the 1st man's First corner and 2nd man is the 1st lady's (see the upper diagram).

At the Start of a 4-Couple Square set, the Man's First corner is the Lady on his left and the Lady's is the Man on her right (see the lower diagram).
