Half Schiehallion Reel

A Half schiehallion reel is an 8-bar Scottish Country Dance Figure in a Square set; it consists of the Quarter schiehallion reel performed twice.

At the end of bar 4, the Dancers continue to Face in their Direction of Travel, ready to perform the Quarter schiehallion reel again from their new Places. At the end of bar 8, all must Face as required by the next Figure.
