Hands Round To The Right Halfway
The Hands round to the right halfway Figure is exactly half of the full Hands round to the right; the dancers must take care to Finish Diagonally opposite the Positions in which they started the Figure.When 3 or 4 Scottish Country Dancers are involved, only 2 bars are allocated; at a pinch, 6 dancers can cope in a Strathspey when the preceding Figure is conducive, as in bars 31-2 of John McAlpin though, for elegance, 4 bars are desirable for 6 or more dancers.
