This is a tutorial of the basic Figure, Reel of Three, danced in strathspey tempo.
The dancers start in line, as they would for a reel on the sides of a longwise set, starting from standing places. Two views are shown, the first with the middle dancer facing the camera, the second with him facing away and in each case starting by giving right shoulder to the faced dancer. The first view is from the starting viewpoint of the faced dancer (the lady with the shorter hair style) and so more helpful to a dancer starting in that position; the second is from the starting viewpoint of the trailing dancer (the lady with the longer hair style) and so more helpful to a dancer starting in that alternative position.
