Dance Information

Bobby Crowe (1933-2014) was a widely known bandleader from Fife. Bobby's wife was Agnes and this strathspey, Agnes And Bobby Crowe, celebrates the Crowe couple.

Bobby started playing the accordion aged 15, played with the Olympians Dance Band and then in the mid 1950s formed his own band. It became a popular and much respected sound in Scotland and beyond. Bobby also played the accordion in The Cameron Kerr Band, Angus Fitchet's Band and the New Cavendish Band.

He recorded LPs for the RSCDS and advised them on dance music.
