This dance was devised by Helen Beaney (now Helen McGinley) for Alice and Malcolm Kincaid to celebrate their Golden Wedding Anniversary on 17th February 2008, with very best wishes from all their friends in the Dublin Scottish Country Dance Club.
It is traditional on wedding anniversaries to give your partner (or couples) a gift that symbolises the particular anniversary. These gifts are made of different materials for each wedding anniversary.

The wedding anniversary associated with the material 'Gold' is the 50th.
