Scottish Country Dance Instruction

1- 8 1s set, cast off 1 place (2s step up) and turn RH 1½ times to join LH with 1st corner
9-16 1s Balance-in-Line with 1st corners and ½ turn corners LH while 2nd corners cast clockwise to join RH with 1s. All balance in extended line and 1s+2nd corners also 1st corners ½ turn RH
17-24 All corners dance back to place (1st corners continue clockwise passing RSh) while 1s dance in (1M between the 3s and 1L between the 2s), all set in lines of 3 across and 1s turn RH 1½ times to join LH with 2nd corner
25-32 1s Balance-in-Line with 2nd corners and ½ turn corners LH while 3rd corners cast clockwise to join RH with 1s. All balance in extended line and 1s+3rd corners also 2nd corners turn RH ½ way
33-40 All corners dance back to place (2nd corners continue clockwise passing RSh) while 1s dance in to 2nd place opposite sides, all set on the sides and 1s turn RH 1½ times to end in the middle both hands joined (3s step in)
41-48 1s+3s dance Poussette. 231
